Week in Review (October 13 - October 19)

Tuesday (21,366 steps) - Cardio intervals and cool down. The first few sets of these seemed as tiring to me as HIIT. Either that or I am just incredibly out of shape? How are all of these still so challenging? It would seem to me that at some point these should get easier. Went to the gym and ran 3.5 (pretty damn great) miles. Wish more runs were like that and wish I had more time.

A has had a stomach ache the last few days. She fell asleep on the couch when I was in the shower - which mean I had the opportunity to watch the premiere of the Walking Dead. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't care for this episode much. Flashing between color and black and white and the fact I cannot remember half the characters.
Wednesday (19,998 steps) - Warm up, HIIT and abs, cool down. Holy crap. This was one of the only videos I have ever done that didn't have a water break. HIIT is so humbling... 20 seconds? Heck yeah I could do that! (Over and over and over??) Womp. I got a call from A that she wasn't feeling well so I left work early to pick her up. It was kind of nice to have an evening just vegging, even if it was only because A was sick.
Thursday (22,089 steps) - Cardio kickboxing, which I think is kind of a waste of time. I used to take the turbo kickboxing class at the gym and THAT felt like a good workout. These are some confusing moves that I don't feel like I have down very well. At least I'm up early and moving? A was still not feeling well so we skipped the gym and I did three miles in the basement inferno.
Friday (20,996 steps) - Warm up, total body strength, cool down. This was a longer set of videos - over 35 minutes. But HURRAY for some weights finally!! I don't know what I could have possibly done earlier in the week for my shoulders to be so sore, but man, ow. A got invited to join an environmental club at school and their first meeting was this morning - an HOUR earlier than she normally has to be at school. So that was fun. I drove over to Golden to join A at the Sock Hop she was attending with her Girl Scout troop. She still wasn't feeling well so she spent a lot of the time sitting down, but she did join in for a bit of dancing (but not eating).

Saturday (16,090 steps) - Sadly I seem incapable of sleeping in. I did not manage to stay in bed past 7. Womp. Sat around watching TV and simmering some food in the crock pot.
Pork, green chile, bell pepper, red pepper, onion, jalapeno and carrots
A said she was feeling up to a run, so we jogged around on the path behind our house. It was HOT (like 70).
Then we went to Target and picked up groceries. Got home and baked blueberry struesel muffins and a pumpkin cake and loaf of bread.
WHO AM I. I took A over a friend's house to spend the night and then I popped into Carrie's birthday party for a few hours before heading home.
Sunday (35,141 steps) - Denver RnR half marathon.
I picked up A and was relieved to hear that she was feeling a lot better - good enough to actually eat lunch! We hit up Qdoba and then napped on the couch before heading to the Wild West Ranch to meet up with her Girl Scout troop for a horseback riding lesson. A had confided in me that she was terrified of riding a horse, but after being paired with an advanced student and trying it out she had a lot of fun.

More TV watching before early bed. Long weekend.
Monday (17,076 steps) - Thankfully NOT a HIIT video. Lower body strength and pilates was a great video for me to recover from RnR. For the first time in ages, I was actually sore after a race. SO WEIRD. After work I met up with A at Skate City for yet another Girl Scout event - a skate party for Juliette Gordon Low's birthday. Don't ask how the two are related.
A of course in the plaid pants
A had been given dinner, but I had not, so I stopped and got  Tokyo Joe's before heading home. I haven't been there in ages, and it was DELICIOUS.

Stats
  • 152,756 steps
  • 25.7 miles run
  • 81 minutes of cross training (HIIT/cardio)
  • 63 minutes of strength/stretching
Everything Else
  • So, turns out that my main attorney is "giving me" his standing desk! I asked him when he wanted it back (since I am the last in line to try it out) and he said he was going to bring in a different one. So I have been using it all week. Some days I stand more than others, but I have to say that I really like it!
  • A was sick with some kind of yuck/funk all week. Literally an entire week of not feeling great and not really eating. Not fun for anyone.

Week in Review (October 6 - October 12)

Tuesday (22,348 steps) - A new to me upper body strength video. This was a bunch of super sets and it was strange in the sense that it was alternating arms instead of the standard moves. Not sure if I would do this again, but it was different. I used too much weight on one of the exercises and I almost dropped a dumbbell on my head.
After work we went to HuHot for dinner - have I mentioned how much I love their food? Then on to A's conferences at school. A 20 minute slot lasted about 3 minutes. She is testing almost 2 years ahead in math and a year ahead in English. She is respectful, confident and well-liked. 4.3 mile run at the gym that was actually enjoyable.
Wednesday (20,560 steps) - Abs/Obliques/Lower Back. This was tough... mainly because I have zero abs. All the reps were 50 seconds on and only 10 seconds of rest. Challenging, for sure. Left work a tad early to pick up A and go to run club!
Had a great evening running with Heather and Lisa. We stopped for a quick dinner at Noodles before heading home.
Thursday (17,708 steps) - HIIT and butt/thigh. I had done this one before, and as far as HIIT goes, it wasn't too bad (except for the Oz jumps, those are terrible). Got A packed for her camp over the weekend and then a quick jog in the basement inferno.
Friday (18,643 steps) - Cardio and upper body - although I feel like this wasn't as "cardio" as I expected. I had done this video before and it was pretty good for a quick workout. A was headed up to Girl Scout camp for the weekend so I had the house all to myself. I went grocery shopping, picked up a pizza and beer and binge watched "Fear the Walking Dead" with the cats. Up entirely too late.
Saturday (41,743 steps) - Which meant that getting up to run 16 miles in the morning was NOT THE BEST. I had signed up to do a drop in run with Runners Edge, but the course maxed at 14 miles. So I did 2 miles on the treadmill before I left. When I got to the run I was pleased to see my friends Carol and Sheila from run club. I was not pleased to know that I would be the only person in our pace group running the full distance. Womp, womp, womp. So the first 3-4 miles I was running with the group on the Farmers' High Line Canal in Broomfield. A very small portion was on Big Dry Creek, but most of this I had not run before so the change in scenery was nice. Somewhere around mile 5 my stomach began to get topsy turvy as a result of the pizza and beer (who knew this wasn't the best carb loading I could have done). Luckily I found a bathroom and the rest of the run went fairly well. It got hot at the end, so I was glad I had gotten up early to get this done.
Miles before the sun is too hot
The new awesome INKnBURN skirt - no problems with shorts riding up - YAY!!
I did a bit more grocery shopping, took a shower and picked up Pho for lunch. When I got home I threw some food in the crock pot, napped on the couch and sort of watched a show on Tiny Houses. (Which I find FASCINATING). I baked more of the awesome red velvet brownies for a party we were going to.
Random items in the crock pot - delicious!
Evening was more binge watching of shows not appropriate for A, included the premiere of American Horror Story (wow).
Sunday (16,016 steps) - Up just as early to head to Louisville for volunteering at the Louisville Trail races. I started my morning by working at bib pick up (and I knew almost everyone that picked up - and even saw Ryan from Desert Rats stage race I ran over the summer). I also assisted with the merchandise tent, worked an aid station, and then stuck around to work at the food tent handing out burgers and chips. It was a very long day, I was out there for about 6 hours.
I had grand plans of running 4 miles. Turns out the beer and burger didn't settle that well and I only jogged for about 15 minutes before I went home.
Shower, quick lunch, and then picked up A from camp. We headed into the mountains for a birthday/Halloween party for our friend Heather. It was another great party and as usual I love seeing all my friends.
A's terrifying costume - "Emperor(ess) of Evil"
Random items thrown together to be "terrifying"

What a view!
Home relatively late - basically just enough time to get unpacked, do laundry and get homework done.
Monday (19,939 steps) - Total body HIIT and strength. Luckily it was more strength than HIIT, as I was pretty exhausted from the weekend. The weather has been "fall fantastic" - cool in the mornings, clear and gorgeous. I had been dying to check out the path behind our place and went out for a quick jog before dinner. Miraculously, not a section I have run before - I can't wait to see where else it goes (and there is a nice hilly section in the event I ever pretend I want to do hill repeats).

Stats:

  • 156,957 steps
  • 27.5 miles run
  • 31 minutes of cross training (HIIT)
  • 116 minutes of strength/stretching - I decided unless it is HIIT I will lump my Fitness Blender videos into this segment. Although some of the videos are "cardio" - I'd say they are more strength oriented.
Everything Else:
  • I am trying out a standing desk at work! Who else has done this? About a half dozen of the support staff has bought one (work will not pay for it, so I doubt I will get one).

Week in Review (April 15 - April 21)

Tuesday - Treadmill during lunch. I attempted for REAL speed work for the first time in a billion years. This practically killed me. Did you know 8.2 mph actually feels like the speed of light?? 3.75 with overall pace around 11:00, which is awesome with walking intervals. Since I had skipped the gym on Monday, A begged to go. All I did was 30 minutes on the crossramp. Then, at home, was day two of the Fitness Blender challenge - Upper Body Superset. I have no notes on this one, but I'm assuming it was good. I like upper body workouts.
Wednesday - Day three of the Fitness Blender challenge was a HIIT video. I was NOT looking forward to it, as Heather said she almost died doing it. I did the video during lunch and for real thought I was going to have a heart attack. Not sure if HIIT is harder than speed work, but I'm tentatively saying YES. After work, EASY 7+ bike before BodyPump. Yes, I still went to BodyPump and I barely made it through.
Thursday - I tried to run during lunch. I made it one mile before I quit. Did you know my legs were BROKEN from all this cross/strength nonsense??? Ended up just walking another 1.5 walk with incline. After work, I went to "Ladies Night" - sponsored by my run club. Pearl Izumi was hosting and we got to see and try on clothing from the new summer lines. Some really nice stuff! We got goodie bags just for going, and I got a really nice pair of gloves (now that winter is mostly over). I got home and still had day 4 of the Fitness Blender challenge to go... there was an option for a cardio interval video or a stretching/yoga/pilates video. I chose the latter. I should incorporate this one into my cycle, it was a great video.
Friday - I got up early to do the final installment, day five of the Fitness Blender challenge. I was hoping I would have more time to recover for my double half marathon weekend. Total body toning & HIIT (OF COURSE). It was challenging, but not nearly as terrible as Wednesday's HIIT video.
Saturday - Beat the Heat half marathon. After the race we took the kids to the rec center for swimming. I went to bed at 8:00. Most exhausted I've ever felt.
Sunday - Westminster Trail half marathon.
Immediately after showering, we ran a few errands, and then A and I drove to Denver to meet up with friends for an Easter BBQ. The most fun EVER. Another extremely exhausting day - I was in bed around 8 again. LOL.

Monday - Even though I was DEAD, A didn't care and begged to go to the gym again. I suffered through 30 minutes on the elliptical (man, that is a horrid machine) and called it a night. I briefly thought about doing a video. Instead, I went to bed early. Again.

Weekly Miles Run - 30.95 (4.75 treadmill, 26.2 racing)
Weekly Cross Training - 7.2 miles on the bike, 1.5 miles walking, 30 minutes crossramp, 30 minutes elliptical
Minutes of Strength - 194

Weekly Gain - 0.8 pounds
  • Gotta say, this one actually surprises me. Usually I can really track where I went wrong. I was pretty careful this week, and only one meal (Easter lunch), did I really not watch what I had. Stupid body.
  • HOWEVER, I did go to Yogurtland three times? I guess I should cut back to one? (LAME).
  • As for cooking, I did make something new this week - stir fry!! As for a recipe, I didn't use one. I just had a packet of sauce (about 60 calories per serving - 2 per package), some lean pork (about 3/4 of a pound), a big red pepper, a few carrots, snap peas. About 15 minutes on the stove, and ta da!! It's pretty tasty, and not very expensive. Makes enough for about 3 days of lunch for me, and a dinner for both me and A.
Everything Else
  • I was venting with the ex-SIL the other day about my lack of dating/social life. Her response - well, you're bitchy all the time. Oh. I mean, I feel like I have always been sort of bitchy? I have been trying to reach out on Facebook and Twitter to see if anyone wants to hang out on the weekends for a beer or something, and sadly, all I get is the sound of crickets. WTF. Anyway /rant - this is just my life for now?
  • Work is actually going fairly well. I have been REALLY busy, so it has actually been really tough to get on the Internet Machine and see what is going on in the rest of the world. Thankfully, Heather keeps me apprised of all the IMPORTANT things. For real, the days fly by as I have about three times the work that I used to, so I guess that is a good thing.
  • Related: MY COMMUTE SUCKS. Especially the drive home. I cannot seem to find a good "back way" to get out of the city where I'm not sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. The office is only one mile further from my old office, and yet that ONE MILE actually does add another 10 minutes to my drive. Sigh.
  • NOTHING ELSE.

Week in Review (Feb 18 - Feb 24)

Tuesday - Before work, I tried another video - Leg Slimming Pilates, Butt and Thigh. After work another 1.5 in the basement inferno and more videos - 5 minute inner thighs, body yoga infused stretching and upper body workout.
Wednesday - I was pretty motivated after doing my "hill workout" the other day. I did a mile at incline and wanted to die. The second mile, I walked. Then I headed over to BodyPump. Good class.

Thursday - Another new video before work - bodyweight cardio calorie buster - this is one that I would probably do again. After work I managed to crank out 6+ miles of blah on the treadmill, followed by some quick yoga/stretching.

Friday - One mile in the basement inferno before work. IMMEDIATELY after work, I picked up A and we worked one of her last cookie booths. Two hours at night in the cold is NOT fun. I am glad this is the end of cookie season!
Saturday - 8 miles on the treadmill at the gym, watching Team USA get massacred in the bronze medal hockey game.

After lunch, we spent the day with Jessa and took the kids to Boondocks. A was psyched to get to play laser tag for the first time.

Sunday - While A was working HER last booth with my mom, I braved the 25ish degree weather for a quick 4ish mile run on Clear Creek trail. My first outdoor run in ages, and while it was cold, it was really fast (for me). I enjoyed this!

Most of the afternoon was spent catching up on Teen Mom and Sister Wives (hangs head in shame/embarrassment). After dinner I knocked out another new arm video - upper back, arms, chest (tabata upper body). This was a pretty simplistic video with a decent amount of reps. I would probably do this one again.
Monday - I'd thought about doing something in the morning, but I stayed in bed instead. After work, another 6ish  miles on the treadmill. This was day 108 of the streak. I think I have to set an end date, so I think, maybe, day 120 is the end? I fear if I don't stop soon, I may never end this insanity.

Weekly Miles Run - 27.95 (23.8 treadmill, 4.15 outside)
Weekly Cross Training - 1 mile walk
Minutes of Strength Training - 176

Weekly Gain - 0.8 pounds

I was pretty hungry all week. Not entirely sure why. I had my usual balance of healthy and treats:
The cooking experience has been eye opening... A bunch of new recipes. First, A and I made vegetable soup (literally, a CAULDRON of soup) - it was delicious, but too spicy for A. Almost a week later and I still have about two servings left. I also baked a spaghetti squash for the first time! Elizabeth sent me a bunch of recipes and A was most excited about "Taco Soup," - which was delicious. I also made stew for the first time! I liked it a lot better than the pot roast I made.
I also enlisted the help of L in making... S'mores bark. This was a lot easier than I imagined (but fairly expensive). It took only about 10 minutes of prep time and then an hour in the freezer. DELICIOUS, but probably a fairly large reason why I had yet another gain on the scale this week, lol.
So... what I've learned about cooking... I went for a long time with fairly minimal cheese/dairy intake. While it is delicious, it is fairly high in calories/fat, and I like TONS of it on my food. So, obviously, what I have noticed is that a lot of my recipes require... CUPS OF CHEESE. No bueno, apparently, for my waistline!
  • Ever notice how everyone is on a diet (even if they don't really call it a diet) after the New Year?
  • I don't want or need to go on a diet, but I do want to have a diet that is a bit... cleaner. I am hungry all the time, and I don't want to waste my calories.
  • I don't want to give up dessert, or cheese, but I clearly need to moderate a bit better.
Soooo.... I am going for a #NotEatAllTheThings, round 2. What does this mean??
  • Did you know that I literally am a bottomless pit? Just ask Heather. I can eat for days and days and days....
  • I have very little concept of serving size, therefore, even if I am eating "healthy," most of the time I am overeating.
What I plan on doing:
  1. Cut out cheese based meals (enchiladas, mac & cheese, etc.) to one day a week. I won't give up cheese, but as I said, I eat way too much of it in one sitting.
  2. Um, probably not make bark again. That was clearly not a brilliant idea.
  3. Won't give up donuts either, but I should probably cut back to just one a week.
  4. I am NOT a fan of measuring food, but I am really going to try to watch my portion sizes.
  5. I have been doing a great job of eating fresh since I discovered Sprouts, so I will continue with  my fresh veggies and fruits.
  6. I had been eating sandwiches at work for lunch for the last month or so in an effort to save money. I have a freezer full of frozen meals I'll eat over the next month instead (after I finish the sandwich materials I have left over). The thing with frozen meals, is that while they probably aren't the healthiest in the world, everything is portioned FOR ME. Plus, I have a surplus. And then, maybe, I'll just start to do the "leftover" thing, with a salad? Dunno.
Everything Else
  • Speaking of Elizabeth, can I just say that she is the sweetest. She sent me a Valentine's Day card, complete with a cute hair tie (that I have not tried yet). Really made my day when it came in the mail!
  • NOTHING else.
  • All joking aside... I'm just NOT happy with my life right now. Sure, A is great. Sure, things are finally going a bit better financially. But I am just not HAPPY with just "getting through" every day. We only have so many days on this earth and it sucks that at work all I can do is countdown to when I get to leave, and after work, just waiting until I can go to bed... There has to be more to life than this, I just don't know what it is or how to get there. The last year has been a fog of depression and "what's the meaning of life" musings. I don't know how, but I have to get out of this funk. I've already wasted a year being upset and I don't want it to continue.

Week in Review (Feb 11 - Feb 17)

Tuesday - One mile in the basement inferno, then I tried a new Fitness Blender video - Total Body Toning and HIIT and 8 Minute Abs.
Wednesday - 2ish mile run at the gym, then BodyPump. Still hard.

Thursday - Got up early and did another video - Total Body Toning and Functional Strength. After work, went to the gym - 3.65 mile run, with .75 at 3% incline. It is hard to imagine that I ever did hill training. This seemed IMPOSSIBLE.

Friday - 1.25 mile run in the basement inferno. I took the day off from work since A didn't have school. Our first stop was a trip to Voodoo Doughnut (and maybe our last). We were like 20th in line (outside) and it took ONE HOUR AND ELEVEN MINUTES to get out. That seems excessive. Our second stop of the day was a hike... it was finally warm outside, so we drove over to Lair O' the Bear. It was INSANELY icy and fairly muddy. A fell twice, I fell once. It was beautiful, temperatures were mild and we had a great time, and managed to get in almost an hour of hiking/walking/skating.
Then we headed to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch - which was DELICIOUS. The remainder of Valentine's Day was spent at home with my favorite person, A.
Saturday - A woke up me up early to go to the gym. I had a decent 7.5ish mile run.

The remainder of the day was spent on the couch, with the exception of a quick trip to the mall. I managed to get a sweater on clearance from Loft for $5.99. She warned me it was a final sale. Um, for $6, I think I can live with that.
Sunday - 1.25 in the basement inferno (DAY 100 OF THE STREAK!!). Two videos - Butt and Abs Tabata (Fat Blasting Cardio) and a new arm video - Tone Lean Arms (Rhomboids, Shoulders, Bicep, Tricep and Chest). I don't even know what a rhomboid IS, but I can tell you, that whatever they are, they are WEAK. Those were TOUGH. A worked another cookie booth in 67 DEGREE WEATHER. It didn't feel that warm, unfortunately, since it was windy.
Monday - Quick Cardio, Abs and Obliques video before work. Wasn't crazy about the jumping oblique twists that were the cardio intervals for EVERY SET. After work, I had an exceptionally great run at the gym, getting in a 10k(ish) at a pretty FAST pace!

Weekly Miles Run - 23.14 (all treadmill)
Weekly Cross Training - 2.4 miles of hiking (57 minutes)
Minutes of Strength Training - 193 (!!!)

Weekly Gain - 0.8 pounds
  • Eh. I #ateallthethings
  • In addition to the Voodoo, L brought home a dozen donuts from Dunkin Donuts. Did you know they have a cookie dough donut? And one filled with fudge? IT'S TRUE.
  • Made two more new recipes this week - enchiladas and crock pot Mac & Cheese. Neither is healthy, and both were heavy on the cheese. HOWEVER, the enchiladas were DELICIOUS and I will make them again for sure. The Mac & Cheese... meh. I liked that I could throw the noodles in uncooked into the crock pot, but the whole consistency of it was... off. Next time I make it, I will use the oven and try baked Mac & Cheese.
  • We've been consuming a TON of asparagus lately - this week, Sprouts had it on sale for 98 cents a pound. That is NUTS. A pound lasts me and A 2-3 meals, depending on how hungry we are.
  • I splurged on Sunday and picked up some beef patties stuffed with bacon and jack cheese - threw them on the Foreman and made burgers. That was a delicious choice.
  • Related: I guess Heather is right. Cooking is NOT the worst thing ever, it is NOT as horrible as I imagined, and maybe I will start to buy a few more basic "ingredients" so I can branch out and try more. On deck for this week? Vegetable soup!
Everything Else
  • Just when you thought nothing else exciting could happen at my work... My boss (in his mid 70's) is stepping down from his current position. LUCKILY, that does not affect MY job, as he will still be in office, practicing less, but working on more "special projects." However, the other attorney that we work with is out of a job... effective April 1 (the same time we are moving offices). I mean, we all knew this day was coming, but the timing and notice seems unfortunate.
  • Related: I think Jessa was the glue that connected me to the other girls in the office. Now that she is gone, I no longer get invited to lunch or on breaks. Le sigh.
  • Sorta related: Starting to feel like that chick that got pregnant at her senior prom. Everyone my age either has kids old enough they can be left alone, a husband/boyfriend to watch their kids, or no kids at all. I hate feeling like the odd (wo)man out.

Week in Review (Feb 4 - Feb 10)

Tuesday - Before work I did a Fitness Blender HIIT Cardio workout, red light green light style. DEAD. Work was the most dramatic ever,  more on that later. After dinner - 1.25 in the basement inferno. Also did a butt & abs tabata video and arms.
Wednesday - 2.15 miles before yet another exhausting BodyPump class.

Thursday - Another HIIT video before work. There was a move called "sidewinder mountain climbers" - UM NO. 5.1 miles on the treadmill at the gym and stretching.

Friday - 1 mile before work. Good thing I did that since I ended up going out for a beer with co-workers after and didn't feel like doing ANYTHING when I got home.
Saturday - 1 easy mile in the basement inferno. A and I later worked her first Girl Scout cookie booth of the season. FINALLY, the weather was nice, although it was a bit windy. They sold over 200 boxes in 3 hours!

We met up with Jessa and her son (and her boyfriend's daughter) for... THE LEGO MOVIE!!! I have been looking forward to this since I first saw the preview. Unfortunately, so was everyone else and our first time choice was sold out. We grabbed a drink at Rock Bottom and then saw the movie (only 35 minutes later than we originally planned). THIS MOVIE WAS HILARIOUS. I really enjoyed it.
Sunday - Ralston Creek half marathon (my 100th!!). Before dinner, I took the kids roller skating again.
Monday - 4.25 on the treadmill (day 94 of the streak), 5.4 on the stationary bike, legs and yoga/stretching videos.

Weekly Miles Run - 27.89 (14.75 treadmill, 13.14 racing)
Weekly Cross Training - 15 min on the stationary bike
Minutes of Strength Training - 170 (YES!!)

Weekly Loss - 0.2 pounds
  • I did go out to eat twice this weekend. Ruby Tuesday's one day (I love love LOVE their baked mac & cheese) and Smashburger after our race.
  • Wasn't really monitoring food intake. Only two donuts (if I remember correctly), not as many Girl Scout cookies
  • The really really REALLY big news, is that I actually COOKED. Two actual recipes, with ingredients and everything. I purchased a small crock pot and made pot roast (which, unfortunately, A did not like), and then the other meal was "Mexican Casserole" (which A did like).
  • It was the coldest ever. The phrase being tossed around all week was "polar vortex." This is no joke. We had a day where the official high was -1! That is nuts.

Everything Else
  • The work saga continues. So, shortly after I posted last week's recap, I got called in to see the Office Manager. I have good news to report!! She was able to secure a 10% raise for me. I'm pleased with that. I will continue my job hunt, as the wage I'm currently at is still very low compared to other firms in the area, but this takes a huge load off my shoulders.
  • Related: Jessa quit last week. Her last day was Tuesday. She put in her notice and they opted to just let her go. Pretty bummed about that.
  • Related: The new attorney was given a former employee's computer to use in the meantime. It is apparently very slow and crashes and has to be restarted multiple times a day. She does not seem pleased.
  • Related: THERE IS A NEW LEGAL ASSISTANT! She started yesterday, and even came back today. She seems nice, and more importantly, I AM NO LONGER THE ONLY ONE!!
  • More big news - I PAID OFF ALL MY CREDIT CARDS!!! Huzzah!! First financial goal of the year is complete!!

Week in Review (September 2 - September 8)

Tuesday  (10,702 steps) - Walked Olive before going to work in the morning. Gym at lunch - Peloton ride and a half hour on the treadmill at ...
