The trend seems to be 13 things... so here we go:
1. In just under 8 weeks of ultra training for the Moab 100, I have run 335 miles. That's insane.
2. I never thought I would say I "only" have to run 10 miles today.
3. I can't BELIEVE I was actually able to pull off having surgery and STILL get EVERY.SINGLE.MILE.IN. Thankfully, it was a "short & easy" week. (Again, who knew I'd every look at a 40+ mile week and think "easy."
4. Here are the races I'm CURRENTLY registered for in 2012. 99.9% dropping out of Edinburgh though :(

Did you hear I'll have ran over 50 races in 2011? Mind boggling.
Here is what is on schedule (so far) for 2012 - some dates are just a guess since most people don't plan as far ahead as I do:
If schedules work out, I'd do RnR Denver again and also The Bear Chase (although probably the 50K, not the 50 miler...)

2015
February/March - Antarctica Marathon - the waiting list puts it out this far. Plus it is INSANELY expensive. I'll have to save for this one. Probably will be my only out of state race that entire year.
**Keep in mind some of these races do not have a 2012 date officially set, so the date might be from 2011, and I'm just assuming it will be roughly the same time**
So. With all this in mind... seems like I am going to have an even BIGGER 2012 than I had originally planned. Will I see any of my bloggy buddies at any of these races? Well, besides RnR New Orleans and RnR Seattle. I am obviously pretty full already, but am ALWAYS open to suggestions. And my February is completely naked...
I have MONTHS to work on it, but I plan on an AWESOME giveaway when I complete my final state next fall.
SO. FREAKING. EXCITED.

Three Things Thursday
1. Originally we were doing a back-to-back race weekend for Disney Princess. The other race got bumped to a week later, but I had already booked our travel. What that means is that we arrive late late LATE Thursday night (like around midnight) and don't leave until Sunday late afternoon. I got to thinking... and did some research... long story short, the hotel offers a child care service, so I'm bringing A along! She will have a sitter during the half marathon, but I've signed us up to do the 5K on Saturday. My mom is working on making her a costume, we are thinking Minnie Mouse. I've never signed up for a race knowing I'm not really racing, but I am so so so so excited for this :D
2. I've officially booked all the travel for Phoenix. What's happening in Phoenix? The Lost Dutchman Marathon... in a month. Um. Yeah. Well, I haven't done any running longer than half marathon except for that 15ish mile run on Christmas. Guess this weekend since I'm at home I should try to squeeze one in? L was possibly going to join me for the marathon, but her leg is still really bothering her, so I'm doing this one solo again. Yikes.
3. Race schedule is coming along nicely. I'm booked through about... September. If anyone has any interesting races in August, let me know. I've got about ten states I won't have run in yet, but I don't see anything "good" for that month, currently it is WIDE open.
