1. Did another treadmill run last night. It wasn't as terrible as Monday's, but not as good as yesterday. A "happy" medium, and what I typically expect out of the treadmill. Is it too much to ask for them to turn the heat down in the gym?! I practically MELT while in there... First hour was a random hill program (harder than I've been doing lately).
2. I am signed up to run the Loveland Sweetheart Classic 4 mile run this Saturday. It was the first race I did last year after injuring my quad and finished in just under 41 minutes. I'm obviously hoping to KILL that time! This year I will be joined by L and her boyfriend, R. A and my niece, H, will be doing the kid's fun run. After that? We will be heating back up to Breckenridge for more skiing and snowboarding!
3. Is it really just TEN days until I'll be running my second marathon?? I don't even have my race outfit picked out yet! Suggestions?!

I think it's in a gym creed somewhere that they all have to operate on the "tropical" setting.
ReplyDeleteThis marathon is creeping up so fast! The Princess will feel like a super short piece of cake after that!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your 4 mile finish time. I predict a huge difference between this year and last!
It will be a week after Valentine's Day, but maybe something with red in it? Or a presidential outfit for President's Day.
ReplyDeleteYou always look adorable no matter what.
Love that the outfit is a factor =)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the 4!
Outfit for the marathon: I'd go with a pink/orange/yellow or pink/orange/green combo: Less is more? No way! ;)
