Also did some strength/core. Took Olive for a walk after work and did some driving. Ben had a work dinner so I ate alone and watched a cheesy horror movie.
Wednesday (18,145 steps) - Olive really loves her Advent! After just a few days she definitely looks forward to getting it.
Took Olive for a walk before going to work in the office. ALSO, finally Spotify Wrapped! I think my overall listening was down, which is weird. It seems like I am always listening to something. No surprise to me that Taylor Swift was my number 1 artist and top two songs! I was a bit surprised by number 4 song, but everything else tracked.
I had a run at lunch. Thankfully, since I am still in recovery it wasn't a). that long of a run and b). nothing I was truly dreading. I had a warm up and 4x1 "sprints" - which worked out to about a 3 mile run. Wooo. Did a core video after I got back to the office. Ben had stayed home from work because he was still not feeling great from being sick (food poisoning? I felt fine the whole time) - so I did a few deliveries, took Olive for a walk and then ate alone again since he stomach was iffy.
Thursday (16,618 steps) - Work from home! I went out for my run pretty early. Weather was quite lovely and the run wasn't bad at all. Yay for finally feeling good and recovered.
Took Olive for a walk when I got back.
I just love that her shadow makes her look like a wolf or wild dog when she is really an adorable, well-groomed muppet.
Did a few deliveries and then met Ben at Torchy's for dinner.
Friday (10,550 steps) - Took Olive for a walk before going into work. I went ahead and brought her in so everyone could see her Grinch outfit. She was definitely a hit!
She was a bit more restless than she usually is at work, so I don't know that I will bring her back for a while. Did some driving and Ben picked up pizza for dinner. At some point in the last week we finished up Ted Lasso (what a great show!) and are now watching Yellowstone.
Saturday (19,295 steps) - Procrastinated a bit getting out the door, but we headed up to Boulder for what I thought was a 6ish mile loop with Olive. Definitely more ice on the lower trails than I expected! I had promised "mostly" hiking since that's what I had on schedule.
There was also a decent amount of mud, which no one likes.Best attempt at a selfie - Olive is barely visible behind me, but at least she is facing forward.
We did do some running, but not much. After we finished (route was actually 6.7 miles) we went to 4 Noses. It was Olive's chance to meet Santa!! I paid $10 for a professional picture, although I don't have it yet. (Edit to add!)
Sunday (14,237 steps) - Ben got us Dutch Bros. in the morning while Olive and I lounged around the house. Isn't she cute?
Just had a short run on schedule, but we waited too long and the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up. It wasn't as horrible as we feared, but it also wasn't great. Took Olive for a walk. We headed up to Lisa's house to help her put up her medal hangers and buckle box. It unfortunately took forever, so we stopped at 4 Noses for a beer and dinner on the way home. Late night...More Yellowstone.
Monday (15,246 steps) - Work from home. Went for my recovery run very early. Another chilly, cold morning. Bah winter.Went to Golden to pick up Ariel for winter break, took Olive for a walk. Then went back with Ariel for Qdoba and to get the rest of her stuff.
Did a few deliveries after work and we had a nice family dinner - happy to have her back home for a bit! Yellowstone.
