**Sing to the tune of The Bangles "Manic Monday"**
I'm sure I'm crazy. I don't even know what I'm thinking. But.
Now. I was initially thinking about just tackling the 50K... but then L got me thinking. (I'm sure she was at LEAST half kidding, but the wheels are turning anyway). The 50 Mile would ONLY be 19 miles longer than a 50K. Check out the website.
It's 4 loops like the 50K I did last month, but the aid stations are closer together and we would be at roughly 2,000 feet lower altitude. The overall elevation gains/losses may be similar, but we all know that I can't read those stupid things. (L also suggested I re-read my recap of that 50K and she thinks I'll change my mind...)
I browsed the pictures from last year. This guy looks TOTALLY psyched to have finished 50 miles!
Another bonus is that it is SUPER CLOSE to where we live. Think about a 25-30 minute drive...
Thoughts? Am I acting more insane than usual?
