Wednesday (16,750 steps) - Olive walk before work. Had an easy 45-minute run on schedule so I grabbed a pair of shorts I needed to return at REI and did my run during lunch. It was supposed to be in the mid 80s, but thankfully there was cloud cover, so it wasn't terrible.

Olive walk after work. Ben picked up pizza, yay! Good Fight.
Thursday (19,500 steps) - Another morning I woke up WELL before my alarm. Ben had gone to pick us up Dutch Bros. and since the forecast was a million degrees I took Olive for an early walk before I clocked in. Supposed to be a scorcher, so I went for my run early, it was thankfully not terrible.
Also got in a Peloton ride, a longer walk with Olive and my strength training. After work I met Ben at Torchy's for our weekly dinner date. Took Olive for a walk when I got home. Good Fight.
Friday (15,118 steps) - Woke up crazy early but decided I didn't want to drive down to Wash Park. Ben and I took Olive for a walk before going to work. Took Olive for an early lunch walk since it was supposed to be crazy hot again.
Brought Olive back out for a short walk around the block since she had taken her long walk so early. Very hot. Headed home and Ben ordered in food for dinner. Took Olive for another walk. Good Fight.
Saturday (28,872 steps) - Woke up before my alarm so I had time to take Olive for a walk. Drove down to Runners Roost Central Park for Runners Edge! I had a long run to do and figured I might as well suffer with friends in a group setting. Ran for the first half hour with Sheila, which was nice! Had planned to do a few hours and turned around with a goal of just over 10 miles.
I ran about 15 minutes with a random guy from the group that asked me if I was training for anything and then we got into a conversation about ultras and I think I convinced him he should sign up for Dead Horse in November. I realized I was running much faster than I wanted, so I told him I was going to slow it down for the last few miles. Of course everyone was gone by the time I got back to the store and there was nothing I was interested in shopping for so I headed home to pack for our impromptu weekend "camping" trip. Ben had most of the hard stuff done, I just had to pack up stuff for me and Olive. Left around 11 or 12 and headed straight for Outer Range.
We thought about picking up groceries but decided to just set up at Lee's house. Olive walk around the block and Ben had Cheba Hut delivered.
We did an impromptu "bike ride" - Lee wanted us to demo a few of his bikes and he had one that was sized for me. Pretty terrifying, I think the last time I was on a bike other than the Peloton was when we went to Australia!
Sunday (19,506 steps) - Lee left pretty early for a group ride and we had plans to do a hike with Olive. Stopped at Dunkin on the way to Blue River for more coffee and a donut. We drove all the way to the upper trailhead for lower and upper Mohawk lakes. Overall, it was a really great hike and perfect weather.
We did have a few encounters with very rude and entitled people on the trails, but we had fun. Olive especially loved finding a few snowbanks and shallow river/lakes to play in. Stopped at Outer Range and then Safeway to pick up stuff to make burgers for dinner. Another walk around the block with Olive.
Monday (21,289 steps) - Up early so I could do my run before clocking in for the day. I had mapped out a run on Tenderfoot, which is only about a half mile from Lee's house. I had it on both my watch and phone but got confused pretty early on with navigation and ended up having to do the route in reverse since I wasn't going to have time to backtrack. It was a gorgeous, albeit a little chilly, morning. I saw exactly zero people on the trails - which was perfect. I really enjoyed this route.
