Almost 45 minutes and zero iguanas. Sad. Stopped at Island Donuts for a snack. Went back to the hotel to shower and go out to pick up my last minute Walmart order. It was still so early, so I decided to go walk around Marshall’s. Randomly got some stuff there, then next door at Five Below and got other stuff. Then stopped at Smoothie King for a protein shake. Back to the hotel where I got drop bags and pack finalized. Down to the gym for a quick yoga video. SVU marathon and relaxed. Packet pickup was just down the street and I walked over right when it was supposed to open. I got another 2 gallon bag since they had last-minute added an aid station. Picked up all my gear and decided to order food on my way back from the Italian/pizza restaurant on the way. They indicated it would be 20 minutes before it was ready so I went to the gas station to get some water.
Walked back to get my food and then ate while watching even MORE SVU. Made sure everything was ready to go for morning and went to bed relatively early. Took me a bit to fall asleep, but had a good night.

Sunday (10,414 steps) - Was really glad that I had booked a hotel and not slept in my vehicle the whole time. Went down to the lobby for breakfast before going upstairs to get everything packed since I wouldn't be staying at the same hotel.
Without a real plan, decided to drive up towards where I would be staying near the airport. I wanted to get my daily steps out of the way but wasn't seeing anywhere good. I found what looked to be a good sidewalk in the shade, but didn't see anywhere to park. Finally I stopped at a Love's gas station and just wandered around for a mile near there.
While I still plan to monitor my beer intake, I was really looking forward to going to a new brewery! I wanted somewhere close by and didn't even research the beer types. It was maybe a ten minute drive but I picked very well! A very good hazy IPA on tap and the food truck had delicious mac and cheese.
Also, there was a home football game for the Jacksonville Panthers, so I figured I needed to get out of the city ASAP before the game ended. My room was supposed to be ready at three and I stopped to pick up more celebratory beer. Checked in at the hotel and dragged all my stuff upstairs. Lounged around with Criminal Minds playing in the background, procrastinating getting stuff done. All of a sudden it was "late" and I had forgotten to eat dinner. Definitely very congested and sick feeling all day and had a hard time falling/staying asleep.
Monday (12,158 steps) - Woke up a minute or two before my alarm and felt HORRIBLE. Whatever gunk I had going on had multiplied over night. Probably didn't help that I hadn't been hydrating well since the race was over. Threw everything into my bags and headed down to the lobby, grabbing a cup of coffee on the way out. The perk to this hotel was that it was less than a five minute drive to the airport. I dropped off the carat 6 and then walked inside. Security didn't take too long, and this time my walking tamales are what flagged additional screening. Sat at the gate until it was time to board. I managed to get a seat in the emergency row again.
Watched Gossip Girl the whole flight, even dozing off for a few minutes, which is unheard of for me. Took the train to the stop near Ben. He met me at the train stop and we walked to his office and he drove me home, stopping at Tokyo Joe's to pick up lunch. Took Olive for a walk and then did some laundry and unpacking. Alex had recommended a new (to me) scary movie to watch but I was pretty tired, so I napped first. Started to watch "Veronica" but wasn't able to finish before Ben picked me up to take us to dinner at Parry's. Once home, finished the movie, but promptly fell asleep on the couch and went directly to bed. Definitely sick with something!Stats:
