All I Want For Christmas - GIVEAWAY!

The 100th Follower Giveaway!

Yeah, I know I had my 100th follower a few weeks ago. I was just deciding... what to do for a giveaway.  I really wish I could do something like give out a Garmin or a running skirt, but... this will just have to do. Sometimes I find that I have acquired things that I just won't use. So my "loss" will be your gain!

Up for grabs is two pairs of performance toe socks from Injini - one pair in pink, one pair in white/rainbow - both size small (sorry, guys!). I bought a ton of these socks to wear with my Vibram Five Fingers, but the shoes ended up not really working out for me how I hoped, and since I hardly wear them, I can't justify having so many pairs of socks. And these I hadn't even taken out of the package yet :D

Part two... I also LOVE to read. I am guilty of buying books a lot of the time instead of just borrowing them from the library. So for those of you who need more than just doing the running and talking about the running, I'm giving away:

The Perfect Mile by Neal Bascomb
The Extra Mile by Pam Reed

Entries - one comment for each so you get all them counted:

1. You must be a follower of my blog :D
2. Re-post the giveaway on your own blog
3. Become a follower of Injini on Facebook
4. Tell me your favorite book (doesn't have to be about running, but if you have one, share it, I'm always looking for new ones).
5. Tell me your favorite Christmas/Holiday tradition.

Giveaway will end Christmas Day, get your entries in by noon to be safe.

  3. Oooohhh... my favorite tradition is probably running all sorts of fun holiday-themes races around Thanksgiving and Christmas! And since I just moved to California from the Midwest, my family's latest tradition is "Thanxmas" -- a holiday between Thanksgiving & Christmas where flying is really cheap and I only have to do it once. :)

  8. I haven't even finished it yet, but what is probably going to be my favorite book is Adam Carolla's "In 50 Years We'll All Be Chicks".

I suggest everybody go read it. He is HYSTERICAL!!

  9. My favorite holiday (Thanksgiving and Christmas) tradition is the moment when inevitably all of my cousins and I get together and start reminiscing the silly things we did when we were little. This year we all ganged up on the oldest cousin and "yelled" at him for all of those times he made us play 52 Card Pick-Up. Ugh, he was so annoying!

  31. Watching a movie with my boys now 19 & 15, the fun part is actually agreeing on a movie to see. So between the 2 boys there is a lot of trading that goes on and with me lots of bribery and house help to avoid seeing a chick flick since I always pull out the "I was in labor for 12 hours" trump card. :)

  33. I didn't enter your contest because I already have the books and I don't want toe socks... but I did want to give you a couple book suggestions for your winter reading pleasure. These are not running books, but they are memoirs (and actually there is some running involved in the second one): 1) Mennonite in a Little Black Dress by Rhoda Jantzen and 2) Orange is the New Black by Piper Kerman. Also in the memoir category, anything by Jen Lancaster, starting with Bitter is the New Black, through her most recent, My Fair Lazy, with a special recommendation for Such a Pretty Fat (which I laughed out loud over while reading on an airplane!). (She also has a blog, Jennsylvania.com.) Merry Christmas (belated)!
